SCDNR's State Lakes reopening for bank fishing

SCDNR offices statewide will no longer be able to accommodate in-person transactions at our customer service counters until further notice. In the interim, operations at SCDNR offices will continue, with processing for all boat titling and registration and licensing customer requests being handled online, by telephone or via the U.S. mail.

A State Forester's Burning Ban has been issued by the SC Forestry Commission for all counties, effective at 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 7. A State Forester’s Burning Ban prohibits outdoor burning anywhere outside of city/town limits in South Carolina, including: yard debris burns; forestry, wildlife or agricultural burns (also known as prescribed, or controlled, burns); and campfires and other types of recreational open burning.
